Approach
blueStar’s consultants tell every customer that a new system implementation will be a “challenging journey” but so long as everyone is focused on the destination i.e. streamlining business processes, productivity, reduced costs, increased profits - it will be successful.
Based on their collective years of experience, blueStar’s consultants have identified some critical success factors in the implementation process. These are:
- all the relevant facts and information about the business are collected
- an internal project champion is appointed
- management and users support the project
- realistic expectations about how long the project might take
- tested and proven implementation methodologies
blueStar’s organisational competency and all expected deliverables are outlined in its Project and Customisation Development methodologies.
Obviously, not all companies have all the resources and budget to do everything at once. Instead, implementation can be completed in manageable phases, as resources become available.
